What is logged?
VollSign automatically logs every security-relevant action: login/logout (including IP and device), document upload and download, signature field placement, signature event (timestamp, IP), email dispatch, role changes, and membership changes.
Viewing audit logs
Navigate to "Security > Audit Log". You will see a chronological list of all events. Use the filter options to filter by time period, user, document type, or event type. Logs must be retained for 7 years (GDPR-compliant).
Exporting the audit log (for courts and authorities)
Click "Export Log" in the top right. Choose the format (PDF or CSV) and the desired time period. The export contains all metadata in a format that serves as evidence for German courts and supervisory authorities.
